Occasionally we will run educational seminars and hands-on workshops on training or other pet-related subjects. Please see the Workshops page for the full list.
The Dog Classroom also offers Workplace Seminars for those who work in professions where they may come into contact with dogs (delivery service, meter readers, etc.).
Reactive Dog Webinar
This seminar is now a prerequisite to attend Reactive Dog Classes (previously a private behaviour consultation was required). It will cover topics such as:

different types of reactivity (dog-human, dog-dog, leash reactivity, etc.)

managing reactivity
-
training methods to improve reactivity
-
training methods that can worsen reactivity
-
understanding canine body language
-
and more
We will also discuss some issues that participants are having with their dogs.
This seminar is presented by Anne-Marie Mayes who is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Certified Fear Free Professional, and Registered Veterinary Technician with over 20 years of experience working with dogs, cats and other animals.
